The grounds that surround Mayweather House are overrun with gnarled vines and thorns that keep the house hidden from view. However, the house itself appears only to be abandoned for a few hours, instead of the hundred and thirty odd years. The appearance of this haunted house has deceived many, who fall into its web seeing only its beauty. However, a second glance depicts Mayweather House draped in a web of greenery and appears to be in mourning. Mourning the death of its Mistress, who would never grace its presence, never walk its hallways, never fill its emptiness with the voices of children at play.

Captain William Thomas Mayweather’s spirit walks the cliffs along the Bluff behind Mayweather House while his beloved Leora Grace roams the dark waters of the Atlantic. Painful moaning sounds can be heard nightly out on the Bluff that shadows Mayweather House. The Mayweathers’ shared a love that not even death could extinguish, a love that would endure down through the ages. Over the years Captain Mayweather and Leora Grace have enlisted other young lovers to join them in their haunting of Mayweather House and the dark waters of the Atlantic. Lovers, who shared the same great love, a love that trapped their spirits and held them earthbound. The Mayweathers and their counterparts walk through the minds of future generations, changing their destinies, leading them to Mayweather House the ending of its curse.

The Curse of Mayweather House begins with an elderly English Lady sitting alone in a church yard cemetery. The is Lady Nancy Lee Abernathy’s first visit to the graves of her husband son in almost a year since her husband’s death She sits on a stone bench gazing at two grave stones wishing that she could join her husband and the child they lost over sixty years ago. Suddenly her mind begins recalling events from her youth, about the haunted house known as Mayweather House. Then suddenly she realizes that she is not only recalling events from her own search into the facts surrounding Mayweather House. She is recalling events in the lives of Captain Mayweather and his wife Leora Grace. In her travels into the past life of the Mayweathers, she learns of the great love the Mayweathers’ shared. The same great love she shared with her beloved Zane. However, what she doesn’t realize is that the good captain and his wife have stepped through the veil of the supernatural and are leading her into their past, preparing her for some future event. At first she believes that she is losing her mind but soon comes to the conclusion that she must play an important part in freeing the ghosts from their earthbound realm within the spirit world. Later on the ghost find that this elderly English Lady is also leading them to discover the origin of the curse that has held them earthbound. Lady Nancy Lee Abernathy has spent a life time putting to memory all the events that have occurred involving Mayweather House and its hauntings. Now in her old age those memories are flooding to the surface of her mind with the aid of two ghostly lovers. However, not because she wants to remember happenings that changed the course of her destiny. Not only are her personally memories resurfacing, she is remembering events that happened long before she was ever born. The Ghosts of Mayweather House and the dark waters of the Atlantic are bringing everything full circle, making way for three American siblings, who are the only ones who have the power to end the curse that has enveloped Mayweather House for over a century.

Across the ocean in the United States, three siblings find that they are the new owners of an English estate known as Mayweather House after the death of their father. However, upon learning of their inheritance, they find that haunting family secrets are clouding their wind fall into luxury. After reading letters contained in an ominous iron strongbox, they soon realize that they must do battle with the supernatural in order to claim their ancestral home, Mayweather House. Justin, Michael and Lyndsey Alistair have mixed emotions about claiming their inheritance but the excitement soon beats down their fear and they make plans to travel to Southampton England to claim their haunted house and drive out the ghosts. Justin, Michael and Lyndsey Alistair, believe that they have inherited a family dwelling that has been kept a deep dark secret in their family’s history. They run headlong with nervous energy into a quest to claim their inheritance. However, unbeknown to the three Americans, they are really being manipulated by the Ghosts of Mayweather House. Their destiny was laid out years before their births and each haunting was only leading them to Mayweather House and the end of the curse.

Finally, an evil phantom spirit, who has stalked Lady Abernathy for her entire life makes one final attempt to snuff out her life. The Evil that lives within Mayweather House has to keep the ghosts from combining forces with the land of the living. It knows that when they finally join as one force it will be destroyed. The Evil will not allow this unification to take place without a fight. This underlining evil dwells far beneath the foundation Mayweather House, an evil that has sent many screaming into the night. This evil lurks deep in the darkest core of the house, biding its time, waiting to strike. Something so evil, it takes what is wholesome and good, changing its goodness into something ugly, as-ugly-as its black soul. While Mayweather House draws its victims with its beauty until they are obsessed and finally destroyed. Anyone who dares cross the threshold of Mayweather House will forever be haunted, will forever have a feeling of fear at the mere mention of its name.
